ON LOCATION
On your wedding day Inspired Hair can come to you on location, to pamper and prepare you in your own environment for ease of timing, stress and weather problems. All you need to supply is a power point and good natural light -we bring the rest.
PRE-WEDDING TRIAL
Mel believes that the key to successful wedding hair is a trial, also an opportunity to meet her and discuss, design and create your bridal hair.
She often finds that we ‘real’ women can be challenged by our own hair - not being quite long enough or thick enough - so to help achieve the desired look, hair padding or extensions are often called for.
Mel has a special talent for making custom hair pieces when necessary to accommodate these issues. At the trial Mel will help plan the timing of your wedding day preparation and the final costings so you know exactly what to expect.
MAKEUP
Hair and make up go hand in hand. Mel welcomes you to choose your make up artist of choice or if you need recommendations Mel is happy to send a list once a confirmed booking has been made.
TIMING

As a guide to timing Mel allows 60 minutes per person for hair on your wedding day, dependent on each person's hair type and chosen style.

Mel prefers it if your bridal party can wash and blow dry their hair smooth the night before the wedding. This will enable our time line to stay on track, and a better hold factor for up styles.

Mel suggests having hair and makeup completed one hour before departing for either your ceremony or pre-ceremony photos dependent on your venue location so you have time to get dressed and have any 'getting ready' photos taken and final hair/makeup touch-ups before leaving without feeling rushed. Always check with your photographer though as to how much time they need to ensure timing runs smoothly on the day.
